Good quality bibs but sizing is way off. I'm 5' 11" and 165 lbs and considered slim. I purchased a Large and it was too small. Had trouble pulling them on and the straps were too short. Returned for refund.Report this review
I read the glowing reviews and bought the largest size XXL. The size chart indicated it would fit me - 6'2" - 37 inch waist. I noted among the other reviews that one user indicate that he was 6'2" 34 inch waist and it fit him "perfectly" - I can barely get into the one I bought. So, my main comment on Santini is - The chamois is very well made - The fabric is good quality. However, the fabric is not as elastic as my Assos which is also XXL. I'm confident that if you buy one of these that fits, you will be happy. However, there is very little leaway. If they had the XXXL in stock, I'd probably buy it.Report this review
These shorts are very good quality for the price. However I found them to be too warm for hot conditions (35C) and developed a heat rash. Hopefully this will decrease with more wear.

Quality product and is very comfortable. I’m 6-2, 205 lbs, with a 34 inch waist. Since they are from Italy I ordered a XXL and they fit perfect.Report this review
Great fitting bib with an awesome shammy!! Santini makes the best fitting and comfortable cycling kit for me. I’m 5’8 147lbs avid cyclist and the medium sizes fits perfect. You will be happy with your purchase!Report this review
Today I tried them for the first time and the fabric is superior in quality to other shorts I've had, the chamois pad worked very well in today's race, I like the pockets on each side of my thighs because I can load some gel or nutritious bar, has letters and reflective parts that are ideal for when the night falls, excellent quality, I bought 4 of them, and great price too.Report this review
White pads are good enough to avoid problems. I bought it inexpensively.Report this review
The product is well packaged making it feel special. When I first tried them on the materials felt a little rough, however after a ride and a wash they feel much smoother and haven't caused any problems. They fit well and are more comfortable on the bike than off it. The quality seems good.Report this review
Second time I used these was on a 400km audax through Herefordshire, Wales and Shropshire, even after 20+ hours in the saddle there wasn't too much of either numbness to the tissue or soreness from friction. Throughout a good range of temperatures from hot daytime to cold mornings they coped well and was without the sweaty stomach feeling I get with other shorts. The front panel is comparatively low and is an open knit style fabric nicely breathable as are the straps. The pad is smaller than my previous pair of Santini shorts (other model), so was a bit concerned that my sit bones would miss the most cushioned sections of the pad. If you sit bolt upright then this is partially the case, but as you lean forward flattening your back they get better. The fit is on the tight side I normally take a small to medium but I just about fit into a large could probably have gone for an XL! I'm about 6' but slim with a relatively small torso. The leg bands provide a lot of compression to the thigh and I have thin legs so I'd take this into account if you have large legs. With the right size these are fine but its the effort and expense of getting there that is annoying. These are still slightly small but a bit of stretching in is expected. Style wise the tiny pockets are ludicrous and a bit too small for the gels they're designed for. The grey logo on the leg bands are fairly discrete. All round very pleased, just the sizing is a bit annoying.Report this review
