Northwave extreme tech road
4Great shoes. Comfortable and no hot spots during rides. I like the adjustment system for ease of use and good fit. I installed the speedplay adapter which works very good. Better than speedplay specific shoes. I use 12.5 US size and the 46 fit well with plenty of room for toes and adequate adjustment for a snug fit.

Natty shoes
5My new favourite shoe! Love the light weight, roomy fit and comfort (I have wide feet). Perhaps 5% less stiff than Bont Vaypors but stiff enough, and with the speedplay adaptor really low stack height without having to order custom 4 hole drilled shoes.

Great bike shoes
5Great shoes. Carbon sole is solid with several vents. You don't feel hot feet while hot temperature. Light, easy to tight.

Bright and comfortable
5I chose the Fluo orange version of this shoe and love the color. Be prepared for a few comments from your buddies - you will be noticed! Fit is good for me. I normally wear a 45 and I was worried that the Northwave might be too narrow for my relatively wide foot. Not the case. These are very comfortable. The wire ratcheting closure system is easy to tighten on the road but not as quite as intuitive or easy to loosen. To loosen, you have to lift up on the wheel lever and pull on the wire whereas you simply turn the ratchet wheel to tighten. Sole support and stiffness is good.
