Outstanding Shoes
5I just noticed that I had never reviewed these shoes that I bought 5 years ago, and am still happily wearing. I ride about 200km per week, so these R3's have seen maybe 70,000 km or so. They are super comfortable, incredibly stiff. Oh, did I mention that they last well? Yes, they are a little scuffed from a few tumbles in the peloton, but honestly, they fared better than me. A wonderful buy. My next shoes - maybe next birthday - will be Fixik

Good ones
4Yup, they're good and comfy. The length of the lockers may have some potential for improvement - both in regard to function and aesthetics. Except that: perfect.

Superb - in every respect
5The only "issue" with these shoes was the delivery time. I actually received a request to review the product before I received the product - but it was well worth the wait. I first wore these shoes for an 80k hills ride (climbing about 1500m) on a 37deg celsius day and to say they were excellent is an understatement. From the moment I put them on they were mega-comfortable - this together with the stiffness and snug fit made them a joy. They do have a relatively high arch, which suits me, but may not suit everybody. However, I had no hotspots at all during the ride, just comfort, even though I sweated and sweltered in the heat. I will definitely use these as my race shoes - currently am using Mavic Huez, which are good but not even close to these. My other shoes at the moment are a pair of Specialized S-works, which are also very good but not a patch on these. Love 'em!!

Stiffest Slippers
5Straight out of the box I felt like wearing these round the house. I have arthritic feet and these are the answer, the fabric of the upper wraps evenly round my feet with no pressure points, the leather is supple, the sole is super stiff and contoured to support your feet like trainers. They feel even better on the bike. The sizing took a little experimenting, I got 45.5 (usually Northwave/Spec 45). The adjustable velcro top buckle is simple and works. Last but not least, they look great.

4Incredibly comfortable shoe that looks and feels like a racing shoe. Securing system is easy and more comfortable than others, and doesn't pinch. Slightly larger than other brands.
