comfortable

I was a bit put off by all the sizeing reviews on sportful but I really wanted the aero fit im 74 kg 6 ft went for a large. Thay fit grate a little long behind the knee but sorted that by pulling the ankles down.good ankle grippers. Very warm. Not used in the rain yet. Pad isn't the best. Nevertheless im very happy with these I'd recommend then. Not for the fattys though...

Sportful No-Rain Cycling Bib Tights

4

My old extremes finally gave up the ghost (in a slightly revealing way) so it was time for a new foul weather pair of legs. Searching around I found it hard to find much that would shed the weather but not feel like I was trying to ride in a diver's wetsuit (rear knee chafing is not funny) but finally came up with these and so far they have not disappointed. They have a warm liner and shed the worst of the water. Don't expect to go out to sea in them but they do keep it off enough to get you out the door and going before hopefully you can build up a head of steam yourself to stay warm. And as most of it beads off, it doesn't soak in and get heavy. When I took them off there was dampness, but that's me being a bit sweaty (sorry) but I figured that's fine as nothing is perfect waterproof and breathable and these kept me snug out on the road when it was all simple cadence and a headwind with rain which is what you need them for. The pad is just fine, plenty of squidge to keep you comfy. Also, this price was the best on the internet by far. As a guide, I'm, 6ft, 32-33 waist and the Large was perfect. Maybe a bit long on the legs at the ankles but that's better than too short. Would buy again.

Great Technical "no rain" Product

5

The "no rain" technology in this product is a realy good feature. Water just "beads" of the fabric surface and rolls away. This is particularly useful for water running of your waterproof jacket onto the legs. Another nice feature is water does not soak into the tights, then run down past your overchoes, into your shoes. I haven't tried these is a deluge, but have been out in reasonable levels of rain and they have kept me dry. Fit and comfort is very good, with the PRO sportful pad in he bibs. Sizing is typically Italian for the waist, but sufficiently long enough on the legs and straps. XL fits 80kg/6 foot 5" hight nicely. Fit is slightly closer than sportful Veulta bibs

I've found these to be significantly superior regarding water repelancy vs Santini H2O biblongs, and they are a fraction of the price

Great product for the price, especialy is snapped up in the sale - thanks very much PBK

Works for me...

VERY impressed with these - very comfortable chamois & stretchy/supportive - would recommend going up a size to normal as these can be quite close fitting. Not totally waterproof - but first time out in a truly biblical downpour these kept muscles warm, skin remarkably dry & most importantly breathable - avoiding that nasty 'boil in a bag' syndrome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
