Solid Jacket
4Bought this jacket after reading a review. Not the most aesthetically pleasing jacket, but you can see Santini have put some thought into it - The shaped panels allow for a close fit where required and it doesn't flap in the wind.The elasticated material at the back of the neck allows also for a close yet comfortable fit. Sizing is standard Santini - more towards race fit - I'm a medium in non cycling clothes but a large is a good close fit. The jacket is surprisingly waterproof and reasonably breathable, but if you have experience with rain jackets you know you cant have both! The jacket is packable and come in a little separate bag - not the smallest but small enough to fit into a jersey pocket for sure! Im happy with this jacket.

Too short!
3This jacket is perfect for keeping the chill off on long descents after sweating up a big climb, but I have a couple of issues with it. Even in 3XL, the jacket is too short in the torso. The sleeves are plenty long. The rear vent works well. If I started a long descent with the jacket half zipped, the wind would unzip it all the way to the stop, and I could never get it zipped back up with one hand. It is nice to have something almost weightless that can keep you from freezing on descents and in the rain.

Santini 365 rain jacket
5Firstly would like to say good work and well done to PBK and DPD! Best price and prompt despatch backed up by speedy delivery and thorough communication. As with all Santini products the jacket is superb quality in terms of manufacture and materials used. Size wise I had to go up from large(my jersey size) to extra large, and the fit is spot on, from length of back, shoulders and arms to the size of the collar. The jacket sits just loose around the body which aides in air circulation but doesn't flap around. There is a vent at the back which helps suck out the hot air. There is also reflective piping and a reflective band on the back of the collar. The material is semi clear with a satin finish so you are able to see your jersey underneath but not look like your wearing a plastic bag. I bought this for spring and autumn riding for when its not cold and miserable enough to get your drab winter gear on but gives you protection from the road grime and such like that can ruin a ride and your jersey. Will update as more wet mileage is churned.

4I am very happy with the santini jacket. I am pleased that I orderd a size larger than usual as my normal sizing would have been a little tight around the girth, must be the cold southern hemisphere winter, thank you!
