Scicon travel frame
5I am using the travel frame for transporting bikes in the back of a car (jeep wrangler) for this purpose it is brilliant. Easy to secure to floor of the car and means i can take my bikes - particularly my track bike without having to worry about rain etc. With the forks elevated so that the bike is relatively level the frame and bike fit neatly across the car. May not be what it was designed for but it works brilliantly in this application.

An excellent concept
4The travel frame is an excellent concept and makes packing your bike for a soft bag an absolute doddle and it helps keep everything nicely in place. I could rave about its usefulness but it is let down by its weight. If you are a roadie you'll probably will be fine but to travel away for a triathlon and you hope to get all your tri race kit and supplements in the bag in can be a challenge to stay under the BA 23kg weight limit.

Ingeniously Simple
5The Scicon Antishock Bicycle Travel Frame is ingeniously simple and easy to use. It provides excellent support and stability to the bicycle frame especially the fork and chain-stay, two areas particularly prone to damage when the wheels are off for packing.

Great product but ...
4Got this for a really good price, huge markdown from retail. Frame concept is superb. Fits my needs. What does not fit well is the front axle width. Could be that I got one that is from a bad batch. I meassured and it is over the standard. Meassures 103mm when it must be 100mm. For me to put my fork in, I would have to force, open it up a bit with which I do not want to. One would think 3mm does not make much of a difference but it does. This should fit without me forcing my fork to it. Contacted Scicon. Expecting to get a replacement part to address this issue.

Great protection
4This antishock frame covers very well those inportant parts of the bike. It gives extra protection to Chainset and rear derailleur. I use this frame in Polaris Cargo bag. It fits into the bag well and makes whole bike travelling system much more safe.
