Scicon Bicycle Defender
4I purchased the Scicon Bicycle Defender to protect my new bike on a 2500km road trip around south east Australia to attend some cycling events and it performed the job admirably. It was extremely easy and quick to fit and remove and the fact that my new bike has a through axle instead of drop outs made no difference to fitting. The Velcro tabs halfway up the fork covers is also a nice touch. The only drawback I could comment on would be that the tight fitting means that the brake levers are pulled back and as a result that brakes a engaged whilst the cover is on the bike. Not a big deal as you can always just remove the cover if you are moving it around but worth noting if you are concerned about them being engaged for long periods of driving. One humorous note. When my son first saw the Scicon Bicycle Defender on my bike he commented "Dad, why have you got your undies stretched over your Bike?"

Excellent bit of kit
5Works perfectly. Keeps your bike clean while on the car, does not seem to flap or have any negative impact on the airflow over the car at all. Just what it should be :-)

Bike defender
4Was very surprised by the product. Was expecting it to fly away at motorway speeds. But after 300 miles they were still attached and performed well.

5I like them so much I got 5 for our family bikes and 2 to give to mates. Really good quality and well worth the price, which in itself was very reasonable. Will be keeping an eye on things for my next bargain buy.

Does it's task
5Love these, we carry three bikes on the back of my ute and each one has a Defender over the bars. Keeps them bug free for the trip.
