Beware has one shortcoming
2This is a potentially great rear rack mounted light, however (for me) it has one huge shortcoming - it includes NO mounting bracket. What instead comes are two bolts that suppose you already have a mounting bracket or rack you can easily bolt in onto - until I come up with a solution to this problem, I am giving the light two stars. Moreover the bolts that attach to the light to whatever mounting bracket you eventually come up with, go through two holes that directly lead into the back of the light and through which water could ingress.

5This light is quite big, taking up the full width of most rear carriers. It bolts on to rear carriers with a suitable mounting plate on the back. I made a fixing plate from some scrap aluminium angle for two of my racks. The central LED is very bright and can be seen from a great distance. The lights each side point out at an angle and there is a large reflector around the LEDs.

Super visible light
5The central LED is very bright, so is visible from a long distance. the ones each side are not as bright, but angled to be visible from the side. There are multiple modes to allow all three LEDs to be on constantly or flashing, or have the central one on constantly and the side ones flashing. The large reflector also helps visibility. The light is solidly made and has a seal where it opens to keep out water. There are two pre-drilled holes for bolting the light to the rack, and alternative positions that need drilling if the pre-drilled holes are too far apart for your rack. When fitting the nuts inside the light, screw them onto the end of a bolt and then push them into position. This is an excellent rear light.
