Well designed, nothing superfluous
4Quite pleased with these panniers. Installation was very easy, adaptability range is good. I've added a shoulder strap to carry the panniers; there are d-rings next to the buckles for this. The only problem I've had is that carrying the panniers by the handle opens the QL1 clips all the way, and if you have the inserts for racks smaller than 16mm in diameter, the insert can become dislodged. I was quite surprised when it happened, since the adapter appear to fit snugly, but it was halfway out when I checked. You should be aware of this, since there are no extras included in the packaging.

Durable, easy, convenient, well made!
4Superb bags for commuting but also recently used them for 4 days of touring. The fixing system is superb, one handed mount and release. I have dropped a star for the lack of internal pockets (a single pocket for keys/wallet/phone would be very handy. Also lacks a shoulder strap which is something I'd appreciate at times - otherwise flawless. Fitted to my Tortec Ultralite (also excellent) without issue using the 11MM adapters, there's a choice of 3 sizes included.

just better
5I've read many reviews before buying these while they were discounted. They are just better than anything I've had before. It's as if Apple Computers started making bike bags: they've though of everything that was irritating about previous bags and made it work better. A joy to use.

5Finally I got myself some truly waterproof panniers ! They were worth the wait, I should have bought them years ago. Fantastic.

3The paniers were delivered without the strap that clips ont o go over your shoulder, which i thought was included - hence i am disappointed at the lack of functionality. L

5Easy to fit, lightweight and in this current wet spell completely waterproof. I have to double check security prior to riding off as they have fallen off when hitting a bump. Very well made and fittings very robust as is the build quality. Would highly recommend and Probike were the cheapest supplier!!

Excellent Panniers
5Having done lots of research, I chose these Ortlieb Back-Roller City Bicycle Panniers due to many favourable reviews. After 15+ years of commuting with a backpack, these panniers are a revelation. No more sweaty back and no more aching back. The 100% waterproof panniers have already been through a number of storms and inside has remained perfectly dry. The capacity is great too, I can fit so much more into these than a backpack. These are highly recommended.
