good wheels & great value

The wheels handled nicely on my first ride on a windy day. Great upgrade for my old wheels. Good job Probikekit on processing and shipping the order to the US so quickly.

With the 13.5mm internal rim measurement these wheels will accept 700x23mm easy enough folks rather than just 25mm upwards please?

Great All-Around Aero Wheelset

4

Those looking for aero benefits at an entry level price will love these wheels. The deep rim has noticeable effect on the road, while the weight is competitive with higher priced wheels at this depth. At 1765g, they are lighter than shallow stock alloy rims and have been great for climbing and descending. I live in the Rocky Mountains and have never second guessed using these wheels for long, 6000ft+ climbs. Lighter riders will definitely feel strong side winds, but they handle well. Spoke tension was even and tight all around the wheels straight out of the box and have not needed servicing. There is some flex and slight brake rub on the rear wheel when powering up very steep (+10%) slopes. The rims fit wheels rather tightly which causes some effort to slip a new tire on, but holds well once mounted. I have used 25c tires with no problem on a Specialized Tarmac. The hubs are smooth, and again, have not needed servicing as of yet. Although, I live in a dry climate and they have not been used on much wet rides. For the depth and weight, they spin up nicely from a standing start and keep their momentum well. Overall, these wheels have been great and would be an excellent addition for someone looking for an all-around wheelset that can climb, descend and excel on the flats.

Token C55A Carbon/Alloy Clincher Wheelset

First ride on the Token C55A Carbon/Alloy Clincher Wheelset today and very happy with them. Not sure if they will make me faster but if so that is a bonus because the main objective is to look good and they achieve that. I don't have a suitable set of scales but using the bathroom scales they seem to be close to the stated weight. Came with spare spokes, spacer for 10 speed and valve extenders. Build quality is superb. Wheels feel stiff and although not straight pull hubs they roll perfectly and are great value for the money I paid. Only one ride but time will tell if they stand up to regular riding. So far so good.
