Long lasting tire

When I switched to tubeless tires I knew the selection would be limited. I choose a tire that seemed like it would provide long wear and puncture protection. I am a recreational rider 100-200miles per week. I am getting over 5000 miles on my front tire and 4000 on the back. I couldn't be happier about this. I have watched the front tire self repair with the latex sealer I use. Overall a great tire.

Hutchinson Intensive tubeless tires

This is the third set of Intensive tubeless tires on my wife's bike. They seem to be very comfortable and roll well. She has had only one flat since she has used these tires (4 years), and that was from a bolt that went into the sidewall of a well-used tire. They are rated at 25 mm, but measure out closer to 23, on Easton EA 90 rims, using Stan's rim tape. I also use Stan's solution. If you don't have an air compressor to seat them when installing, use CO2 cartridges.

Great tyre

I have been running this tyre for over a year now and wear rate is very good. Grippy, durable and comfortable, at least compared to a Gatorskin. Have had one puncture when a lengthy piece of glass put a 2-3mm cut in it (no sealant on that run). That's been patched and no issues since. Tricky to get on Stans Alpha rim but can be done with hands only with right technique. At least you know it isn't going to blow off the rim.

700x25 tubeless

So far so good. Almost 1000 miles and wearing well no flats. Seems pretty fast and rides terrific I'll buy this tire again but will try the secteur next I think these run pretty narrow for a 25.
