Light Fast Reliable
5I ride these in NZ on rough chip roads ,i have ridden them 3 times in races over 400k through road works, loose gravel ,cattle stops,heavy rain,and they have never missed a beat .Reliable and fast

A very light and very fast type - Ideal for your time trial bike
4Almost 30g separates it from its nearest rival... very fast, with a rolling performance that's matched only by Michelin's Pro 2 Light and "It's a supple tyre.. not recommended for your road bike or winter trainer but should certainly be on your shortlist for time trialling."

The perfect TT clincher?

I have used the Supersonic for time trials (and pursuits on the track - I may have one of the world's few clincher rim track double disc sets) for many years now, including 2 national titles in pursuit and 2 in time trial at Master's level.
They are super light; super fast; very grippy & absolutely reliable for racing. They don't, however, last very long as you might expect. I have not had any flats in the time I've used them either.
Want to go fast? Buy these.

Light and fast...

I've used these tires for the last two season on the ourdoor velodrome track racing Omnium's and Sprints. I use the 700x20 to hopefully benefit from a slightly more aero edge. I inflate the tires to around 150-160.
A pair lasts about once whole racing season (3 months) unless the tire gets a cut or damaged. They actually don't wear THAT fast, for how thin and light they are. I've also never had a flat with these tires.
I use them with the Conti Super Sonic tubes for super light rotation weight.
Highly recommended for track and TT racing.

Nice tire - 23mm
5The box says Black Chili. No tpi written on the box or tire though. I run them on the street for TT fun. So far so good with michelin latex tubes. They don't seem to wear too fast. Sidewalls are the same thickness as gp4000 type tires. Seem to be fairly durable. They have survived going over railroad tracks at slow speed, an unseen pothole, and raised cracks in the road.
