Mixed Feelings
3Have used the 23 mm Continental Grand Prix 4000S for the last 4 years and have clocked up 12,000 plus kms with no issues despite bad roads and the odd accident, the 25 mm version are just as good to fit to the rim, role and grip on the road but after only 100 km a split developed in the sidewall of the rear tyre for no obvious reason, hence rendering the tyre useless. A bit disappointing, but will still continue to use these tyres

Conti GP 4000s ii
5Live these tires. My 23mm's are nearing the end of their life after 6000 Km's. I just had my first flat last week, so I'm gonna put the new 25mm tires on and I fully expect them to be as good or better than the super grippy, super fast, smooth 23's.

Great tires
5After ordering wider c17 wheels, I discovered that my beloved 25 contis became almost 28 mm wide and didn't fit my frame anymore. So I had to order 23 which measures between 25 and 26 and fit perfectly on wider rims. The original 25 had few cuts and nicks that developed during 2000km I used them, no punctures though, so far I'm pretty happy with them. And the grip and cornering is top notch.

Dependable
5I have used a number of brands and I always keep coming back to these. Have ridden 5000+ kms. on a number of sets and the wear marks are still visible. Your best bang for the buck.

The BEST!
5What's not to love about these tires? They're super fast (I easily coast away from riding partners on slight downhills), super grippy (give me great confidence in the corners, wet or dry), and have amazing puncture resistance for a race tire. I used to use Gatorskins for training because of the rubble on the road shoulders around here, but I've found the Grand Prix 4000S II is almost as durable (only one puncture in 3 seasons... and that includes riding on some really rough roads, and off road, in Mexico).

Fast Grippy Tyres
5I replaced my stock Bontrager Race 700x23 tyres with the Grand Prix 4000S II in 25mm. The ride is supple and they handle like a dream. Highly recommend!
