Great solution
5If you need longer valves for your wheels, like I do for my Zipp 404s, this is the way to go. I had extensions that allowed me to inflate the tyres before, but the valve was still in the tyre, not in the extension. That made it very hard to inflate, and difficult to determine how much pressure was in the tyre. With these, you move the valve from the tyre valve stem to this extension, so it is no different when you go to fill your tyre than if you were not using an extension.

Could not be easier.
5Using the supplied tool you unscrew the existing valve core, screw extension on valve, then screw the core into the extension and tighten using the tool. The first time will probably take 15 - 20 seconds and the next time it won't take so long.

I've started using these valve extensions and have not experienced any leak. I did not have to use plumber tape.
The extenders attach directly to the tube with the the valve core attached at the end so you don't have to leave them open like some other types of extensions. Continental also provide a handy tool with these to unscrew/screw valve cores and install the extenders.
Easy to install, no pressure loss.

No problems at all with Conti podiums on my TT deep-carbon wheels

I needed these for my Conti podium tubulars on my deep-section carbon wheels.
The valve core screws out of the tubs, the extension screws onto the valve, the core screws into the extension - job done.
Easy to fit, no issues with losing pressure, no issues at all
