Swiss Army Tool Kit... almost

I originally bought this over 3 years ago, but evidently misplaced it. I tried to look for something better but nothing comes close to this; and therefore I just bought it again and considering what it comes with, its a sure win with my uses.

Good tool for the toolbox

4

I purchased this tool back in my mountain biking days. It served me well then (when weight was not much of a concern). However, as I have since gravitated towards road biking, the tool is a bit heavy to carry with me in a jersey pocket or bag. I still keep the tool in my toolbox and is my go-to tool for quick adjustments. Anything major, however, and I reach for a Park tool.

Valuable tool on the road

Probably used in the last 2 out of 10 rides, once by myself and once by a friend.

So already made a difference.

Only problem is the weight, but that's okay I lost 10kgs this year riding hard. So a few grammes doesn't matter ;)

There is a good carbon version too.

Travelling space saver

5

This multi-tool is fantastic for when I'm travelling with my bike. I can pretty much solve any maintenance issue therefore saving valuable space in my luggage.

Great durable design - with a simple push of a button the tool splits in half to make it much easier to perform maintenance.

While it does fit in my saddlebag - if your worried about weight - then I would also recommend a 'mini' multi-tool as well.

Heavy & Versatile

4

I'm pretty sure that I can disassemble my bike down to (excluding) the chain rings & head set with just this tool. The chain breaker works well. That many tools does mean that the tool is heavy & requires a lot of room in your saddle bag. And although the tool has just about everything that I need as a roadie, being a roadie I am a weight weenie.

For me, this tool is great for travel - I just throw it into my bike travel case or my kit bag & off I go, confident in the knowledge that I can all but disassemble & reassemble my bike with this tool alone.
