3T Ergonova TEAM Carbon Handlebars

Awesome service from PBK, ordered 23.12 wasn't expecting to see them until after Christmas and they arrived within 24hrs. The bars themselves are light, look good, feel good and do seem to offer a degree of extra isolation from road buzz. There might be a knack to it but I couldn't get the cables to run through the bars, instead of running out the the exit they'd continue through the bar. Not a big prob, routed the cables as normal outside the bar and they feel fine.

Excellent carbon bars with reasonable price

I agreed with the product overview .The top of the bar is egg-shaped in section, the longer radius provides a wider top surface for the hands. Technically this product meet my requirement for leasure long ride racing as well.I have used more than a year.for the time being, this product recommended to be the best carbon bar at medium level price.

Striking and also very comfortable!

I did a lot of research before taking the plunge and investing in a set of carbon bars and I'm very happy with my choice! These paired with the 3T ARX Team stem and my Cervelo R3 look stunning as they were always destined to be together. I went with a longer stem (130mm) as the reach of these compact bars is slightly shorter than my previous ones which were paired with a 110mm stem. I love riding in the drops as I'm an aggressive rider & like getting aero when facing a headwind. The oval shaped tops are also so comfortable that I seem to ride less on the hoods since I got them. The 44cm bars measure that width CTC at the flared drops whilst only 42cm on the tops. However I don't find this restrictive coming from bars which were a 44cm width.
I compared prices across various websites and PBK was cheaper by a mile!

Its great shape and light weight make this a truly comfortable bar

The Ergonova Team is designed with comfort in mind. While it’s plenty stiff enough when honking on the bars, whether climbing or accelerating fast, it’s at its best on long rides.

The smooth curved top section is wide enough to provide a stable platform for your palms, making it much more comfortable when riding on the tops than a flat wing or standard round bar.

It’s also one of the most comfortable for riding in the hoods, the wide oval shape continuing through the transition between top and drop, tapering down to a standard diameter and angling away from where the gear hoods sit...

Excellent Italian Craftsmanship

I have been looking for a compact bar for a few months now and have decided to try out the 3T Ergonova. Great timing since Velonews just reviewed a handful of carbon and aluminium bars in the May/2011 issue and I was pleasantly surprised of the positive reviews on the 3T Ergonova Team Bars.
Not to be influenced by Velonews test, I decided to focus on what features are important to me: positioning on the bike, comfort, and vibration damping.

I was a bit apprehensive of the way these bars we designed (the Ergonova bars have a slight taper on the bends. These bars are actually narrower at the bend than they are at the drops. So far after a couple of rides, I have not noticed any noticeable issue with this design, but I have noticed the major benefit of the 123 mm drop and 77 mm reach. I am not overly flexible, so I decided to go with a compact bar instead of changing my stem.
So far so good. For those of you who have some flexibility issues, you have to give these compact bars a try.

Excellent carbon road bars

After a few weeks use I can say I am a convert to these bars. The first thing you notice is the weight, or lack of it. These are very light bars. Second the finish is very impressive and pairs well with the arx team stem. Finally the shape is quite different. With an over size top section, short reach and shallow drop they bars need to be chosen carefully. I went from some Deda anatomic bars and these are quite different. You would probably need a stem 10mm longer than using traditional or anatomic bars due to the shorter reach. The net effect is that they are very comfortable, it's easy to get on the drops and the carbon appears to blunt some road vibrations.
Very classy handlebars and worth the coin.
