Works a treat when servicing and transporting our bikes.

PEDROS Chain Keeper

I see two reviews here and both talk about this for use in transport... I guess it could be used for that too but I think it's primary use in in washing your bike. Perfect for keeping the chain off the chain stays when you remove your rear wheel. For me, that's what I got it for and it does the job.

Works great

I use mine for washing my bike. It keeps the chain tensioned as I run the chain through my chain cleaner. Mine started coming apart but I just used a small zip tie through the holes to keep it together. It's great, I'm glad I bought it as it serves me well.

Just OK

Not too bad, not quite sure if it's highly necessary. Good purchase if you transport your bike in the back seat of the car (without a cover), but derailleur comes off in bike box and most chain covers keep the chain where it needs to be.

Cheap + nasty, but so handy

Keeps tension in the chain without the rear wheel and stops the chain from going all over the place. Although you're paying for a cheap bit of plastic that is not of the sturdiest construction (mine could do with some glue to keep the two halves stuck together), its so handy! I keep the chain keeper in my car for whenever I need to remove the back wheel for transport.
