Shame the 10 speed chorus cassette is no longer around, but this one is great value. Yes it may weigh a bit more than the record cassette (2 gulps of a water bottle), but at close to $200 cheaper, why would you buy anything else.

Lovely shifting quality ,very smooth. I bought 25/12 Great no problem on those steep hills . Campagnolo is a winner!

Centaur is perfect for the price. The only shame is that you so seldom offer it in the size of 13-26! Which is perfect for training.

Long Lasting

I have put tens of thousands of kilometres (over 50,000) on my Centaur 12-25 cassette and it is still going strong. I change and oil my chains regularly, but I ride year round on more rainy than sunny days.

The main downside to the Centaur cassette is the lack of a carrier. It makes moving cassettes around tricky; the upshot is easier cleaning.

I haven't used many other cassettes (only Veloce and Centaur), but I can't complain.
