Startup software + Keeping i-magic alive

I bought the T1925 pack to upgrade my 9 years old Tacx I-magic (green controller) that only work on Windows XP and 32 bits, what means that I was expending more time fixing bugs than riding the trainer. With the new software well installed on a i7 64 bits machine + the new controller, I'm able to keep my old trainer/ breaker system and have an updated system. The basic software is basic, with just 1 virtual scenario with few routes; you also get the velodrome that is just a flat oval ride, so it's recommended to make the upgrade through the Tacx website and get the advanced option. doing it by the website, you pay just the difference and don't have to buy the full advanced option on bike dealers. In summary, it's a good solution for the owner of the old I-magic/ Fortius systems to keep them running.

Great for the price

This is a great upgrade to the iFlow - which transforms your trainer into a fully fledged virtual reality training machine. Surprisingly easy to install and setup, it uses a USB to plug into a laptop. Then simply select a course and get going. The computer shows "you" riding the course, with the French countryside slipping by on your way up the mountains. As you reach the climbs, the computer turns on the trainer's electronic brake, giving you the feeling that the hard work has begun. With the screen giving you plenty of feedback about the course ahead, your current rate of progress, speed, climb grade etc, there's plenty to keep your mind occupied to help you forget you're not actually out there on the road. I'm yet to swap the virtual reality for the film based rides, but that's next on my list. Overall, a great way to get started with VR training - at a very decent price.

Tacx Trainer

This Tacx Flow to i-Flow Turbo Trainer Upgrade Pack is great for a soft old bugger (like me) who likes training indoors!
