I bought these as much for the look as anything. They are on the cheaper end of the market, but they seem well constructed, the velcro is solid and the ratchet mechanism is pretty good; it needs pushed past the first tooth to work, put on the road I have been able to tighten and loosen it without looking near my feet. They are well vented and the light material will need a good winter bootie to go over them otherwise I think these won't stand up to much hard winter riding.
Using the size chart I bought the Euro 43. I measured my foot to be 26cm long and 10.5cm at its widest. Lenght wise I fined them spot on, but I have noticed that my feet can feel tight around 50km into a ride and I need to adjust the velcro, but I am cycling in NZ summer and it was 22oC when I was out this morning, so heat may be the issue.
I've put around 200km in on them already, I really like them.
