they do cost a bit more than other bartape, but they will out last any other tape out there. very comfortable to hold, and it has the tacky feeling so is not slippery. they are also very easy to clean, a little soap with water will make them look new again. Would recommend them to everyone.
I'm very happy with this bar tape. It has a comfortable of cushioning without feeling padded out and is still nicely 'tacky' a few weeks later. Lizard Skins has a great video on You Tube showing exactly how to apply the tape. It made it really easy to get it right (for a first-timer). The tape is very forgiving during application - you can unwind if you need to and then re-roll it without losing its grip on the bars. I can thoroughly recommend this tape.
I,ve used this product a few times it looks good and gives a good feel on the bars and helps take out vibrations
Easy to install and feels great on hands without gloves and my hands didn’t slip. I’ll buy this brand again.
I have been using it for 5 or so years. Durable comfortable and performance well for many manh kilometers.
I upgraded my OEM Bontrager bar tape and I am loving the Lizard Skin tape. 2.5mm is the perfect thickness for shock absorption and grip. Easy to install and it looks great. I would not hesitate to buy again.
I purchased Lizard Skins DSP handlebar tape because I prefer the sticky feel as opposed to slippery brands. Especially in summer as I don't wear gloves and my hands do get sweaty and wet. And it worked exactly as expected..and as a nice touch the end of tape wrap was sticky and actually worked! Plugs were not great but rarely are. I keep my expander plugs as long as possible. I don't know how it will wear but the feel is lovely.
Lizards skin isn't the cheapest bar tape, but it's a quality product, fairly easy to apply, looks and feels great and is available in a range of colors. Riding the bike I am impressed with the grip and cushioning which eliminates vibration from rough road surfaces. Also very easy to wrap with a nice finishing kit, complete with bar ends and branded tape to cover the joins. I'd highly recommend this tape.
The old saying you get what you pay for comes right into play here! Pure bliss, perfect grip giving a sublime experience riding with! My mother says I need to get a grip on life and there's no better product to do this with. 10/10 Absolutely brilliant .
The tape is thick, grippy and feels nice. The instructions specifically asked not to stretch it and the installed tape seems to barely reach handlebar logos. It's my first time installing bar tape though so take this with a grain of salt.
