The Vittoria Corsa Control G2.0 is a durable road bike tyre that is bursting with technology, designed and built for racing on rougher roads. At the heart of this new tyre lies the supple 320 TPI Corespun-K cotton carcass helping the tyre to conform closer to the tarmac, which increases grip, reduces rolling resistance and improves ride quality. Famous for their use and development of graphene in road bike tyres, Vittoria has refined their latest G2.0 compound. With this new graphene compound, Vittoria can now manipulate the core molecular structure of the rubber to specifically enhance the speed, grip, durability or reliability of a tyre. Taking this a step further and using the G2.0 compound in conjunction with 4C technology, Vittoria can even optimise the rubber compound in different areas of a tyre's tread. Using this technology, the molecular structure and thicker tread pattern at the centre of the Corsa Control G2.0 has been tailored to offer durability, while the chevron pattern and molecular structure on the tyre shoulder ensures maximum grip when cornering on unpredictable surfaces.

It was my first time installing folding tires. These are really great, and they look the part too.
I bought these as were on special offer with low to medium expectations and planning on only using them in the harshest UK winter weather that I'll go out in (for me that means it might be wet and cold out with high probability of rain, but NOT snow, ice, hail etc.) Anyhow, fitted these on my Roval SLX24 disc wheels on my new 2020 Roubaix and they went on easy as pie with no tyre levers. I'm getting the knack now of folding tyres on whilst keeping the inner tube pressed well into the wheel rim first, which I know is what you're supposed to do; but all the same I thought I knew best and struggled without knowing THE correct way to do it. Back to the tyres, as I said, low expectations as I'd had the previous generation Corsa G+ tyres on summer duty and was duly unimpressed (not notably/any faster than my previous GP4000sII and with a couple of punctures, plus I thought a bit sketchy in the corners?). All the same, I liked the sound of these new models and read the BRR review which said they were pretty rapid and, liking the edge profile with grip, will hopefully stop me sliding out in the wet on some of our super slippy roads. I haven't managed to try these out in such conditions yet but general use I give them 5* for comfort in 30mm format and super smooth and quick when riding. Compared to Conti GP4 seasons which I hated as were so slow and felt like it was a constant fight to get up to speed (with minimal success). These, in comparison, I don't feel have any effect on my pedalling and spin up nicely and equally as good as my summer GP5000's. IMO I love them. Time will tell as regards longevity etc as so far only 100+ miles. Loving them so far!!
