Building on the success of the GravelKing Slick and the GravelKing SK, both industry leading tyres in the gravel category. Panaracer has developed the next generation of the gravel tyres in the GravelKing Semi Slick.

Designed as a dryer condition or race day ready and fast rolling tyre, the Semi Slick is made for those riders who want to go fast while maintaining great control, traction and climbing prowess.

The Semi Slick features an all new tread pattern consisting of a smooth diamond pattern centre with more aggressive side lugs.

This tread pattern allows the rider to keep speed going into corners and maintain control throughout any transition a gravel ride could present. The GravelKing SS incorporates a supple 120 TPI casing with a nylon puncture resistant belt and Panaracer’s proprietary ZSG (Zero Slip Grip) compound. Note: 28c is not Tubeless compatible and must be run using tubes.

Gravel King SS

I bought a set of 32mm Panaracer Gravel King Semi Slick to run on my gravel bike this spring when the roads were to dirty to run my road bike. These tires have proven to be a good investment at a great price. This is the first product I have purchased through Probikekit that I did not have to pay duty on.

Fast enough on pavement and capable enough on gravel

This tire is lighter and faster rolling than the SK version. For most of us, we have to ride pavement to get to the gravel and this tire shines on these sections. Once you hit the gravel, it keeps rolling fast. Low air pressure helps with cornering and grip on steep climbs. The weakness in this tire is apparent in mud or any kind of chunky loose gravel where a tire with more tread will be appreciated. If you are a mountain biker on a gravel ride, you can probably push this tire a fair bit further than a rider less accustomed to rear wheel drift.
