Designed with the latest iteration of Continental’s legendary Black Chili rubber compound, the Continental Grand Prix 5000 boasts a 10-gram weight reduction in a 25c width, a 12% reduction in rolling resistance and a 20% increase in durability compared with its predecessor. Thanks to the proprietary Laser Grip Technology which creates a micro tread pattern that expands over the shoulder of the tire, the GP5000 also offers increased all-weather grip, giving you the ability to take even the most technical corners at speed.

Great tires, buying another set!
I have only put 150kms on these tires so far, but they appear to be great tires. GP5000 are so much faster then the Conti Ultra Sport III that I had before & ride a lot smoother. Reviews claim these tires are hard to put on the rims, but I found them easy on my Giant SCR1. I will be buying another set for my Giant Rapid III. I love these tires!

Great price on a high quality clincher tire. Fairly lightweight tire. Tough to mount on my Zipp 101 rims. Have'nt ridden the new tires yet, so no comments relating to rolling resistance or ride quality.
Good tyre but don't last very long
I bought a these tyres a year ago. The tyres are grippy and fit well. I use them on tubeless wheels so there is a little air leakage but they usually stay inflated for a week before they need topping up. My only complaint is they have started cracking and perishing on the outer rubber, it doesn't affect the seal but I think they need replacing to be safe. I would expect tyres of this quality to last longer than 12 months.

GP5000 700-25
Excellent tires. Now that I am on my third pair of these I consider them my go-to tire. Roll great, though enough on my mixed Florida roads and wear is as good as my gator skins. PBK makes affordable, unlike most other online retailers and delivery to the good ole USA is great as well. Happy customer here.

I have used Continental road tyres for the last 10 years and I find them very reliable and very nearly puncture free My latest purchase of the 30mm Grand Prix tyres was a very nice surprise, they are comfortable and roll like the narrower version - an ideal tyre for Winter or Summer.

Already purchased 25mm version and now these 23mm tyres for some older narrow rim wheels I still like. Best tyre bargain about at the moment.
