Excelente bars

Very satisfied with the bars, very strong and lightweight!

"Comfortable Shape, Lightweight and Fits Campagnolo V4 EPS Controls"

Chose the Deda Superleggero RS bar because these are one of the only handlebars available that can accomodate the Campagnolo EPS V4 internal bar end control unit and wiring, (Campag owns Deda Elementi). This bar also has an excellent shape in the drops with a longer flat area than 3T bars and a short reach at the hoods, which I find very comfortable. Also very important, the mounting location for the controls is high enough up to mount Campagnolo levers in the correct position and keep the top of the bars flat or slightly canted down, which I prefer. On the negative, these bars are thin wall and you have to be very careful with bolt torque, where Deda should add more strength in the clamping areas, instead of concentrating on minimum weight. Even with the lightweight, this bar is surprisingly stiff and you shouldn't have problems with bar flex. Overall, an excellent, comfortable handlebar.

very cozy

i bought this for my daccordi Divo fram, and built with Shimano ultegra DI2 set, this handle bar has a internal cable routing and hole for bar end junction. so i perfectly set cable and levers nicely.

The bars to get

If you want a light and stiff carbon set of bars then these are the ones. Subtle and stealth graphics on top match nicely with the UD matte carbon weave finish of the bars. Hoods are a nice ovalised shape that you can still take a fist full of riding on the tops on climbs. Drops have the nice and normal deda anatomic shape. The drops don't flare out much at the bottom, which is noticeable with shimano (ultegra Di2) shifters which result in your brake levers angling outwards where the drops are more vertical. This isn't as noticeable with Campy (Chorus) levers which are more vertical in line with the bars. However, when riding this isn't a problem and is mainly to do with the shape of Shimano brake levers, where I mainly noticed the difference. They have excellent cable routing holes near the steam which exit just behind where the shifters will mount (on the bottom side of the bars). It is easy to push through brake cables/hoses and Di2 cables and there is enough room for mech cables instead. I was balancing out buying these or the superzero carbon bars, which are more aero on top. I'm glad I went this way as I like riding on the tops for climbing and not having an as comfortable hand hold on the tops (with no bar tape) pushed me towards the superleggera handlebars. These are measured outside to outside. So if you want 42cm c-c then buy the 44cm.
