I'm a 30+ year rider. Wore it for the first time on a weekend ride. It's unwearable for any length of time with a helmet and I won't ride without a helmet. There is a large center seam right down the middle, and also a horizontal seam running the perimeter with the face opening. They meet right in the middle of my forehead so you have +-quadruple fabric thickness plus stitching coming together right where the front of your helmet should be snug to your forehead. I had a good 1/8" divot in my head after 40 minutes of riding that a day later is still sore. It was pretty painful after about 15 minutes. Luckily it warmed up enough and I had the presence of mind to pack my skull cap when I left. I really looked forward to the winter comfort this would bring but what were they thinking with the seam locations.
