Excellent front rack for long distance bike touring
Tubus makes rock solid racks. The low rails keep the centre of gravity of your panniers closer to the ground which makes your bike's handling a lot more stable. The loop that goes over the front of the tire is the perfect place to mount a headlight (just wrap an piece of an old tube a couple times around it to build up the diameter).
