The brand new Michelin Pro 4 Service Course tyre is designed to provide ultimate performance in all conditions. The tyre delivers the perfect balance between sports performance and longevity. After considerable research and development, Michelin have been able to simultaneously enhance the speed, safety and agility of the tyre while also reducing rolling resistance in comparison to their Pro 3 Race.
Michelin's own testing has revealed the Michelin Pro 4 Service Course tyre is not only safer but is also an average of 16% faster when cornering on wet road surfaces. Michelin have achieved this by introducing their new optimised dual-compound technology. This technology features wider lateral bands for optimal grip at all angles of lean and new compounds incorporating new elastomers and silica for extra grip at the shoulders.
In summary, Michelin's new Pro 4 Service Course tyres improve on their predecessors in every single way. If you're looking for the ultimate in high performance, long lasting tyres, then look no further than the Pro 4 Service Course!

What a deal at ProBikeKit for these excellent all purpose tires. I don't race, but I ride hard (for my age!). Pro4's last long, are easy to install, corner well, and are supple and comfortable. My riding is all in dry weather, so I can't speak to wet weather performance. And, you can't beat ProBikeKit's prices.

Please note that I haven't ridden much on these tyres yet so I only have a basic initial impression. I have 700x25mm rubino pro slicks that I really like. If anything the 700x25mm Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course tyres feel pretty much the same in terms of rolling resistence, perhaps slightly slower rolling. There are not many choices if you want 25mm wide slick tyres at a reasonable price, so I would happily buy these again. Probikekit.com has excellent prices for sure.

My first time using your site. Very please with the ease of shopping and the pricing. My tires arrived within 10 days and are now on my bike. I like the smoothness of the 700x25 tires on the road.
As much as you probably spend on your bike you should know by now that the only rational option for tires is Michelin. You might get 10% more miles from Continental and you might get negligibly more comfort from Vittoria. That said, there is only 1 choice for crits, training, rain, hot, cold, and screaming through a chicane without hitting the brakes. I replace my Pros every 2,500 miles in most cases. I rarely get the first puncture before 2,000. I have full confidence that I can carve a turn at 45 mph without coming off. Bottom line, for bike, car, moto, every other brand is second best.

Have had Michlim tires in past and had great success with them, bought these and the sidewall split open with 30 miles on them. Don't know that I would invest in the Michlins any longer

The Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre are great tires, very smooth.

I was very skeptical about trying different tires, I have been using Conti GP4000s for a few years now and they are by far the best tires until I tried the Pro 4 Race Service Course tires. I wish they would make a tubeless version! I use the 25 mm and at first they looked like balloon tires but the ride was great, very responsive but plush at the same time. We have lots of different road conditions in Northern California everything from busted up road surface to new asphalt, concrete or chip seal with the occasional dirt road or gravel. I never felt out of control with this tire, also I am very surprised about the durability still riding them after about 2000 miles / 3200 km.

I went to Michelin 4's after reading great write-ups of their wet-weather performance in the TdF a couple of years ago. I'd just had a slip-spin-crash when riding on a wet paved trail -- the push to accelerate going forward on the wet was enough to spin the bike out. I was desperate for a great wet-weather tire.
The Michelin Pro 4's have been that tire. They are fast and great for touring and everyday riding. They're also durable, and I've always gotten 1,000 miles or more from them. As noted above, the place where they shine most is in wet weather. They simply grip and hold, wet or dry. I may not push wet performance that hard, but it's great to have the slipping surprises gone away.
Great tire! These will be all I ride until Michelin comes out with the Pro 5...

Bought these tires for racing next year and decided to test them now. Ride really nice, seem a little big for 25's but ride smooth and fast.

A great tyre, smooth on the road, safe at the corners.
Improved durable surface that doesn't cut up like Pro 3, but Pro 4 surface at the rim seems to wear a bit quicker. Would like to see Michelin improve this with next generation tire.

Michelin Pro 4s are the best clinchers out there and PBK.com has amazing prices for them. I always stock up whenever they go on sale. They are fast and handle better than any other.

Great clincher tire. Very good life, good flat protection and Michelins always feel like the fastest clinchers to me
Date: 09 / Oct / 2013
As others have written these are good cornering tires with good traction. But they are very fast wearing and if you look at them crooked they get a flat. And if you get a soft tire from such a slow leak and hit a sharp bump it puts a soft spot on the tread. This doesn't seem to hurt anything but makes me a bit nervous. Also using them on "tubeless" rims causes the rubber to wear away from the cord on the area touching the sharp part of the rim. So I feel ambivalent towards them and would probably use Gatorskins instead.

I've used Michelin Pro Race since their inception and have never found a better handling and reliable tire than the Pro Race. The new Pro 4's are the best yet and even better cornering and wear.

I love these tires! Great traction in turns. Best price on the internet.

As the title states, amazing tires. The feel from the standard tires I had on my road bike cannot compare to these. You can notice the difference right away. The angle of grip is impressive as well. I highly recommend this tire to anyone.
Plus the white walls make my bike look extra sexy!
Fine print - I have only clocked 50 miles on them so I cannot vouch for long term durability. They haven't let me down yet though.

I bought the 700x20's. I have a small aero frame. There isn't much room between the bike and tire. I'm happy there is a good quality tire available with a small width and they are light weight.

This is my second set of Michelin's. My 1st set was the Pro3 and I put 2000+ miles on them before rear tire started to show the cord coming through. I do quite a bit of hills so there is always a good amount of torque to the back wheel being applied. I thought the ride and handeling were great. I had quite a bit of wet roads this year due to the rainy weather pattern here in the Northeast and traction was great as well. Some of the riding included dirt roads with long climbs. Never flatted even with 2000 miles already on them. I Just put the Pro4s on and have about 100 miles on those. Not much to report on yet other then the ride seems as good as the Pro3s. Will report back later on how well they wear and handle in different conditions. Bottom line is I bought the Pro4s because I like the Pro3s so much!

The Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tire handle very well and are a good buy for the price. I have not had them for a full season yet, so I cannot speak to their longevity, but so far I have had no issues. I would recommend these tires for someone looking for a good racing/training tire who didn't want to break the bank.

The Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre are beautiful tires and great performance but they wear out quickly.
Date: 12 / Aug / 2013
I love riding on these tyres. They provide a smooth ride and blend in nicely with my bike.
Date: 18 / Jul / 2013
Corners very well even in the rain. The sidewall blew out after running over a piece of gravel. I would not recommend if you ride anything other than glass or smooth roads.
Date: 09 / Jul / 2013
I have been wanting to put these tires on my bike and try them out. They performed well and have held up well. I have previously been using the michelin pro 3 tires and they were good tires but wore out quickly. I like the different color options as they add flair to my grey bike.

Great Tire. Riding Michelin for years.
Date: 18 / Jun / 2013
Seem to be a better tire than their Pro 3, smooth ride and good cornering...but tread and sidewall are delicate. I bought 4 tires to try, more flats than Conti 4000s. After a slash right through the tread, I cut the tire in half (from bead to bead), could not see a anti flat belt like the Contis

Love these tires. Great grip, very good longevity, and they're easy to get on and off the rims, particularly important when rushing to put in a new tube after a flat on the road.
Date: 10 / Jan / 2013
Lovely colour and more choice to fit my 8 bikes.

I've been riding by Michelin clincher tyres since year 1991. Lovely colours lot of choice.Prorace 4 much better than the previous product.
