The Campagnolo Chorus Cassette - 11 Speed is designed to give fast and precise front and rear shifting, as well as silent operation. Boasting a new teeth profile, the six largest sprockets have aluminium supports for added torsional stiffness, allowing for accurate operation even under heavy loads. When attempting to purchase quality bicycle equipment on a budget, I believe the key component becomes the quest to obtain the best value for the money spent. Compared to the higher priced record and super record cogs, chorus is the value workhorse. Sure it is a heavier as in weightier component, but it is also more durable in the long run because it doesn't contain any titanium sprockets which wear out quicker. The best advice, save the record/super record stuff for race day or when you win the lottery, and run chorus for everyday use. Perhaps, you won't even know the difference over time.
Although pricey, I believe campy components are worth their weight in gold. That being said, I always try to buy them when on sale. After a period of time cassettes and chains wear down. This 12-29 chorus cassette is an asset to have especially when you are climbing a series of different elevations. Combined with a 50-34 chainring, this cassette has been a lifesaver for me!!!
put this cassette on a 10speed zipp wheel and it shifts perfect .i now have an 11 speed wheel
Works perfectly. Simple fast install. Nice range of gearing.
