Bringing superb comfort to the dead of winter, Total Comfort has been updated with new, improved details for even better riding.
The top of the Total Comfort Bibtight is made from brushed stretch fabric to provide warmth. 4-needle stitching is used to minimise any chafing and maximise the strength of the bibtight. The shin and calf is in Sportful's NoRain fabric protecting you from any cold road spray.
The cold of winter exaggerates any discomfort, so Sportful has looked at how to optimise fit for more riders. The bibstraps are made from a micro-cut tape that introduces more stretch in the bibstraps and consequently accommodates a greater variety of body types and heights.
Ankle zips make for easy on and off and reflective details improve visibility.
The bibtight is built around Sportful's Total Comfort seat pad. The seat pad is Sportful's most padded seat pad ever, with continuously variable closed cell urethane foam padding up to 18mm thick. Every detail has been created to maximises comfort, eliminate chafing, and keep it dry.

Truth in Advertizing
Even after just one wearing (a 50 km ride at 5C) I can say these are the most comfortable tights I have ever worn (and I have others by Castelli, DHB, Pearl Isumi, and Ale). It's not just the pad ... which is superb ... but the overall fit of the tights (XL) is excellent ... snug but not constricting, no "rear end droop" ... at least on my 185cm, 80 kg body. My one negative observation (the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) is they are 4-5cm/1.5-2" too short in the leg... although most tights are even worse (Castelli and DHB in particular). In fact these tights are actually shorter than my Sportful Fiandre tights (size L). Manufacturers really should offer regular and tall/long versions for expensive tights like these.
