I read the manual for a 60mile event. followed through the dosage preload and during the ride.... cramped up at the end.
Didnt work for me but does taste good.

Pretty good value when you consider that these gels and bars, etc generally cost a pound or so each if you buy them separately.
As others have said, you wouldn't go through all these on one ride - personally I think the marketing men at the energy-powder companies and cycle mag journalists (mags in which the energy-powder companies advertise...) are in league to tell you that you need to get through tons of these things, but in practice I keep them for having a couple in a sportive or 100mile TT.

Some great variety
5For individual sachets I don't think you can do better on price. I generally can eat most gels and drinks on the bike and be OK. That being said there is enough variety that I suspect most people can find something they like in this pack.

5Really good and cheap way of trying out a different brand of nutrition, they say that it is enough nutrition for one race but I have found I use less than the "recommended" amount. A wide variety of flavours to choose from and I think that these are some of the best value gels and powders around.
