I bought a pair of these shoes and use them extensively in Cape Town, particularly on the Tokai mountain bike trails. They have proved to be wonderful in any weather. Used them on Sunday at Cape Point Reserve on a mountain bike trail they have created where we cycle among animals such as ostrich, bontebok and zebra. It poured with rain and the shoes worked really well and did not slip on my pedals at all. Very sturdy, comfortable, strong shoes - I recommend them highly!
