I got these on sale to see if the compression really works. The first 2 times I went out, it was amazing - no pain and I rode on the big ring for the first time all the way up my usual hill climb! I don't know if this was psychological, because I don't go out feeling super strong any more. But anyway, the shorts fit really well and I'm super happy with them.

I've been looking for about a year for some reasonably priced skins and came across these which were heavily discounted. OK, they wer XS and for men but even as a woman, I found them very comfortable in the saddle and noticed the difference to how tired my legs usually feel when cycling. I would recommend.

About as good as non-bibs get

I have switched to bib shorts but wanted a good pair of regular shorts for hot weather shorter rides. These have a wide waist that is fairly unrestrictive, especially compared with the compression provided by the legs. In my case I am borderline in size based on skins bmi based sizing and ordered a size down as instructed; the result is really too tight for true comfort. Design and quality are very good throughout but I would recommend only for riders in the middle of a size range.

Best shorts in the market, although a bit more expensive they provide very good compression and has good padding on the inside
