Nice Jacket
I am very happy with my Bianchi Modica Jacket and it is going to suit my riding during the relatively mild Aussie Winters. It has a higher covering of the neck than my previous jacket and I am greatly appreciating that. It is very well fitted and at least while new the elastic forms a nice seal around the bottom of the jacket and when unzipped pulls the jacket sides back to reduce flaying of the flaps. The full length zip allows wide open to fully closed for all variations of temperature control. The pockets are nice and deep and I have no concerns of loosing anything from them although maybe just a little narrow to get my hands into them readily but this is only a minor issue. The material is very good at blocking the wind and the jacket as a whole is very cosy. I wear it by itself with a base layer and for me is a neater alternative then base layer / SL jersey / arm warmers / gilet which seems to be popular with people around here. The sleeves are a good length and the ends go inside the top of my gloves without being bulky and close off any drafts around my wrists. I really do like the look of this jacket and its colour but my only real minor complaint is that I try to stay away from dark colours to stay as visible as possible so perhaps some additional blue on the sleeves and back with some more high vis reflective tape would turn this into a 5 star jacket.
