Safer. Smarter. Stronger

Cycliq's new Fly 6 CE Generation 2 integrated rear-facing bike camera and safety light has been re-engineered to give cyclists super-sharp video recording, a more powerful light and impressive battery life. It is also, smaller and lighter than previous models - and packed with new features including our quick-release mounting system

The new Fly 6 CE Generation 2 features will appeal to a wider range of cyclists than before. Designed for competitive cyclists, commuters, mountain bikers and those who simply ride for fun, the new mounting solutions mean the cameras will fit onto more types of bikes

Smart technology that's simple to use

There's a lot of technology packed into the new Fly6 CE, but it's all controlled by just two buttons. While the Fly 6 CE Generation 2 keeps its eyes and ears on the road, cyclists can relax and enjoy the ride

Full HD camera with audio. Shoot super-sharp video at up to 60 frames per second in 1920 x 1080p resolution with audio. The ultra-wide 135° viewing angle and 6-axis image stabilisation captures action footage, number plates and incidents with amazing clarity

Super-bright rear light. The 100-lumen light lets the rider clearly been seen day or night. There are three light modes and three dimming options, or it can operate with camera only

Massive battery power. With up to 7 hours operating time, our industry-leading battery will last longer than most rides. A full recharge only takes 2 hours

Safety and Security

Be safe. Be secure. Smart video looping means never running out of storage space on the microSD card. And if the Fly 6 CE Generation 2 detects the rider has been involved in an incident, it automatically locks and preserves the footage

The in-built alarm alerts the rider's smartphone - via the CyliqPlus app ‐ the moment their bike is moved. For extra security, the light flashes and the camera captures everything on video, even the thief. When the battery runs low, we still get cyclists home safely. The camera automatically turns off giving the light enough battery power for another 30 minutes

Mounting and Accessories

Quick and easy. The quick-release system lets cyclists attach or remove the Fly 6 CE Generation 2 with a simple 1/8th of a turn. Our accessory range now includes the Telescopic Mount which attaches to the seat rails so there's no need to move the saddle bag or tool kit

Pocket Sized

Small, sleek and tough. The pocket-sized Fly 6 CE Generation 2 weighs in at just 110g (3.88 oz) but don't let its size fool you. We've built it tough to withstand knocks, and the nanotechnology weather and dust protection makes it suitable for use in all conditions

Ride. Record. Edit. Share. Fly 6 CE Generation 2 connects via ANT+ to compatible Garmin bike computers to remotely control the camera and lights. The camera connects with the CycliqPlus mobile app through Bluetooth; and to Macs or PCs with USB. The free CycliqPlus Desktop software lets you edit footage for social sharing

We have a love hate relationship...

I'm on my 2nd unit (1st replaced under warranty). The unit generally works as desired (video quality, etc.), but has some battery life challenges on longer rides (3+ hrs) depending on how you have the unit configured. One flaw based on my experience is with the USB Port being located on the top of the unit (although there's no 'good' location, if it were on the bottom, or rear at least any water / grit would tend to drain and not enter the unit). It is critically important to ensure the rubber gasket is sealed before and during your rides to ensure no contamination. The rubber USB flap can be dislodged by a gloved hand when reaching back to wipe the lens clean when riding on damp or wet roads. Thus, IMHO, the Fly 6 is a 'fair weather' camera. If this one fails, I won't by another one.

cycliq fly 6ce

It appears to be a very common issue water ingress killing the camera from what I have read else where Mine died after a very light shower.

Fly6 Gen 2

Video quality and image stabilization is not what I expected. Software interface to edit video and add Garmin data is difficult to use.
