Equipped with one of the latest high-intensity XM-L2 Cree LEDs the Arc 5.5 floods any road or trail in light, giving riders total night vision and by incorporating an elliptical beam of 16° vertical and 24º horizontal makes the lights visible to others at over 1000m.

Average light
Purchased as replacement for earlier purchase that rattled loose and fell off bike somewhere out bush. The screw holding the mount to the light came loose so I was left with mount but no light. The mount was what I expected to give out as it is rubber like that needs stretching that definitely has limited life. There is no where on the light to attach a "safety" cord that would catch the light if /when the mount gives our or the retaining screw undoes itself. The light given is good for road cycling. However the button/switch to turn on /off and change intensity is a little too small to operate easily with gloves (my other bike's light a Moon XP700 has a much bigger easier to use button). Like the Moon this light also has its own unique charging cable and plugs which is means you need to cart it with you on touring / trail ride, and for commuters always remember to charge at home as the standard office USB will not fit. However I would consider this light still to be reasonable value for money.
