Ultegra now has an 11-speed cassette with numerous gearing options to cover all situations. Leading edge design, materials and construction reduce weight, improve stiffness and enhance control.

Dual Control STI Shifters
With Di2 technology shifting is easy and precise - just a light touch, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear. The removal of traditional mechanical cables in favour of electrical wires eliminates poor shifting caused by contaminates, corrosion and stretching, and also provides effortless gear shifts.
Simply pressing tactile buttons allows effortless and comfortable shifting even when your hands are cold. The drop bar STI with shift buttons located in a near identical place to the positions you'd assume shifting using a mechanical Shimano STI. Brake lever pivot is positioned to be used with super SLR brake callipers, increased power providing excellent ergonomics when riding on the hoods.
Ultegra Rear Derailleur

Ultegra Front Derailleur( BSA threaded english standard )
The Di2 front derailleur's operation is pioneering, smooth shifting is guaranteed thanks to a microchip communication link with the gear levers. What's more, shifting the rear derailleur automatically trims the front derailleur. The biggest difference you will notice is just how much quicker and effortlessly smoother shifting on the front chainrings is, even under load.
The difference in the effort and time to actuate the shift between mechanical and Di2 is truly staggering. The removal of traditional mechanical cables in favour of electrical wires not only eliminates poor shifting caused by contaminates, corrosion and stretching, but provides effortless gear shifts.
The front derailleur also trims automatically; the cage moves in response to the position of the rear derailleur on the cassette to ensure no chain rub and a quiet unobtrusive ride, enabling you to concentrate on the road ahead.

This was a great kit at a great price. Two pieces of advice, buy a battery adapter to fit your bike seat tube and you may want to buy a one cable longer than the longest supplied so you have flexibility if you need it. Some of my cables a pretty tight. The battery as shipped only fits a shimano seat tube. Also line up your tech docs on line in advance because the docs that come with are minimal.
My first jump to electronic shifting. Steel Schwinn Peloton running 105. Great price. Decent shipping time to U.S. Outer package was TRASHED. Don't know if that was the carrier or US Customs. However, the components were well packaged. Each piece was in a separate, sealed bag with a little air for cushion. I installed everything internally. Bit of a challenge in a vintage steel frame with small tubes and bottom bracket shell. I used a couple extra B junctions. Specifically, the wire coming up the downtube goes to a B junction stuffed in the stem instead of straight to a shifter so I can pull the bars if I want. I put my A junction under the seat. Much cleaner. I also left a spare wire in the bars so I can swap in the really cool EW-RS910 bar end A junction someday. I was disappointed that the set did not come with brake cables or housing. I was counting on everything I needed for a full Ultegra build. Since my frame was bare, a swapped in a new headset. And I'm running Ultegra wheels with Hutchinson Intensive tubeless. Picked up the wheelset at ProBikeKit last year and couldn't be happier! What a smooth ride.
I got my di2 in 4 weeks that is my complain, but great price and the product got to me in good condition. I will buy again. Happy about the service.

Groupset is excellent. Easy to get used to coming from mechanical. Really a great value now, as it has really come down in price. Di2 performance + Ultegra value = nothing better.
