Good product for the $$$

Good product...at the sale prices it's a great weight for $$$ saver. It can be a bit limited in applications like piggyback/X-labs or handlebar mounted bottle cages...as it doesn't cinch the bottle with its elasticity (like a classic cage does)...and smaller bottles will eject. But for the $$$ it's pretty good...make sure you put washers on the bolts...then the mounts won't twist and break on the final few turns.

I find these very durable, which is good, but I use super light weight water bottles which are a tiny bit smaller in diameter than the standard heavy cycling bottles. I just by the lightest weight bottled water bottle I can find (the label is gone, so I don't even remember the brand). I also use a jumbo size 'smart-water' water bottle. These are just the flimsy but insanely light bottle that bottled water come in if you buy that stuff. It seems crazy to me that people pay $100 to get a lighter bottle cage, and then stick a heavy thick plastic bike bottle in it when they could re-use a super light bottled water bottle.
Anyway, this is just fine, except the fit is too loose for me to use it on my re-used bottles, so I'll have to give it 3 stars only for the slack fit. If you want a good bottle for water, forget bike bottles, just get a cheap bottled water bottle and then re-use it.

I have been using these on numerous bikes over the past few years, and in my opinion you cant go wrong with one of these on your bike!
Lightweight, yet solid. Holds bottles well, but still easy to move the bottle in and out. The price is great and they look good too in my opinion
The Standard for all my Bikes

As of right now, I will only put Tacx Tao cages on all of my bikes. I've tried more expensive cages, cages made of different materials, you name it, but I always come back to these.
They simply work and work well. The low price is just a happy bonus!
