Great while it lasts
2This is the second Lezyne Stripe Drive I have had, the first was the older model with the bung on the bottom of the usb A. That failed after about 2years and just refused to charge. Lezyne and the retailer (not PBK) refused to entertain a warranty claim. Against my better judgement I bought another of these newer models hoping that the fault (water ingress I think) was solved with the new stopper arrangement. This one has lasted about 20months. This time it appears to charge but either doesn't switch on or turns itself off after a few mins. Again I suspect water ingress. Despite used on road with mudguards Not really up to the rigours of daily commuting which is a shame. My alternative is from another leading brand and while it works (and lasts) the mounting arrangements for this are better despite both being stretching straps. This is the fourth Lezyne light I've had that has failed in under 2 years life. It's a shame because other than durability they're a cracking light. But Very much form over function I think. Sad.
Report this reviewA nice light but be careful when attaching to your bike
4This is my second such light; the first fell off a few weeks ago when I was travelling over rough tarmac on the Bristol to Bath cycle path. If you buy one make sure to carefully push the rubber cross members on the strap into the clips on the sides of the light. In operation the light is good. There are a wide range of settings from just about bright enough to blinding, and the a single charge lasts a fair while, depending on setting, of course. It’s not too heavy and I’ve not had it turn on accidentally when in a bag. One other thing to note; it’s quite a long light so check you have enough seatpost remaining to allow attachment if your under saddle bag is as big as mine.

4This tail light works great. I haven’t let the light completely discharge before recharging so don’t know how long it will go before needing to recharge. The light blinks bright and warns drivers behind me

5really happy with my back light. Incredibly bright, battery is long lasting and I feel safe roaming the country roads in darkness. Would recommend purchase.

5Does what it says on the package, ice and bright and a good fast delivery, cheers
Report this reviewGreat light, better support
4Really bright light that helps you feel safer riding during the day. But, will be too bright on the brightest setting for night riding in a pack. Only issue is the rubber strap is not super durable. However, Lezyne has great customer service and sent out a couple of replacements for free.

1Seems to me that bike light manufacturers in their desperation for product differentiation have added myriad features but at the expense of basic functionality. This is the second rear light I’ve been disappointed with it’s failing being the useless attachment provision. Did anyone at Lezyne actually think about this ? I’ve just spent half an hour retracing my commute home after the light fell off - being a rear light you’re unlikely to realise. Of course the attachment may fit some frames but given the variety of bike shapes I’d have thought it obvious that, for a quality light, different mounting options should be provided. The simple fact that it falls off really doesn’t merit further discussion. For uses where the light needs to be routinely removed from the bike a rubber band isn’t really fit for purpose anyway.
Report this reviewBright & alert braking function is cool but silicone strap failed resulting in lost light
1I have several Lezyne lights and thought this would be the grail rear light that I was looking for. Unfortunately, it was not the case. Pros: Bright! Great form factor, micro-usb charging, different and interesting light modes (I like Flash mode II where light runs up and down), flashing brake light alerts drivers, fairly water resistant. Cons: The more braking you do, the more it will decrease your runtimes. I went for a 2 hour ride in a mix of street and trails with Flash mode II and didn't realize till I got home that the battery was drained. Silicone straps are also too tight and are really stretched around aero seatposts: during an early morning ride on rough, pot-holed roads, the strap apparently snapped and the light fell to the ground. I thought I heard something fall to the ground but was in traffic so didn't think anything of it. Only when I stopped an hour later did I realize that just I lost a very expensive light. I really wanted to like this light and thought I found my grail rear light with a braking alert function and some cool flash settings. If you have a regular round seatpost, you may be more fortunate but be careful of the runtimes: if you brake often, you may find yourself going home with a drained battery and useless light. Unfortunately, with the failure of the silicone strap and my lost light, I would NOT recommend this light.

5Wow what a light. I used this light everyday. Nearly 1 year with me and works, and looks exactly the same. Easy to clean and battery hold power very good. So happy with this little light plus its very bright.

1Purchased this light in Oct 2020 around the end of riding season & it worked great with outstanding battery life. Started back riding June 2021 & it won't turn on. Went on Amazon to check out some reviews & found others having the same problem. Excellent Rear light when working but only lasted about 20 rides & customer service through Lezyne is useless...
