Looks nice, it's almost invisible on my handle bar

4

It looks nice. Fits nicely too. Blends into my handle bar and is barely noticeable. However it is not very loud. Actually ringing it too hard will almost make it sound more like a loud thud. Pulling the hammer back at the right amount and striking the bell makes a pleasant ding.

Excellent service . Excellent product .

Probably difficult to get excited about a bell but I would say this is the best you can buy. Not cheap but ProBikeKit had it available,at a great price .

Looks clean and minimalistic

Easy install. Looks clean and minimalistic on the handlebar. Not very loud in the city. Have to ring it pretty hard just so others ahead can hear it.

Small, discrete, classy, easy to use and pleasant to hear. Not like other annoying bells

Quality Bell

Bought a Knog bell for my wife's bike and was so impressed I bought a Luxe in black for my own bike. Nice to use and people sometimes pay attention to it, but that's not the bell's fault.

All it promised

Ok, so let's begin by admitting that this was a vanity purchase, I mean at the end of the day it's a bell, you can probably buy a bell for a fiver, job done. So why this Knog bell? Well it's just so gorgeous, and it looks so cool! My bike is my pride and joy, it's not a light, stiff, carbon fibre scream machine, but I like to think it has style, Brooks saddle with matching bar tape and saddle bag, so the brass Knog Oi fits the theme perfectly, and the tone is as lovely as the adverts say. On a practical note, fitting was easy, it fits to a 'standard' bar, and the allen key you need to tighten is supplied. Presentation box was lovely, it would be a great present for the cyclist in your life.

Pretty good, but not in the rain

Pretty good bell for the price. Looks good. I installed on my gravel bike. The bell doesn't work well in very wet weather. Water on the bell seemed to dull the tone? I'll move it to be road bike - tend to use that in better weather.

Smart, tidy, solid. A little quiet on first ring

4

I was looking for a bell to put on my gravel bike to tidy things up and give a little more space on the bars and this really does do that. It's a smart looking bell in its own right, well made and tidy and it has a nice 'ring' to it too, not the harsh ring you usually find. My only 'complaints' for want of a better word, it's possibly a little quiet (don't over tighten the fixing as this really will dull the ring) when you first ring it, though I find a double ring seems to catch the attention of people easy enough. The other issue is, to mount it next to the stem, you have to mount it facing 'backwards' otherwise the chime piece ands up with cables resting against it and will dumb down the sound.

It's nice, but not special

I like Knog stuff - usually neat and well thought out. Typically this means a small premium. This bell almost follows the same pattern. It is a neat design and looks pretty. However, you pay a significant premium. The discount that ProBike offer (and these guys delivered it so quick - as ever - bif thumbs up) make it the only time the bell is worth considering (in my view)
