Fizik is Quality
4In response to the other review, I've used this bag for over four years and the connection has never been a problem. It does move up and down quite a bit on it's hinge, but it's never, ever come loose. It's snapped in securely. After three years, the zipper did break on my first one, but I contacted Fizik and they sent a new bag gratis! On that first one also, the hinge did develop a squeak, and a squirt of WD-40 did the trick but it also loosened it up so much that the bag wiggled like crazy on its hinge. Lastly, it stores a multi-tool, tire levers, patch kit, tube, gel, and small food bar, and has never leaked.

As a seat pack it does well - the shape of it lets you stuff fatter things like tubes and energy bars inside without everything getting squished. Reflective tape and a water-resistant zipper add to the functionality. However, the main feature of this pack, being able to clip it directly into your Fizik saddle, is what makes this bag a liability.
The clip connection is held in place by a plastic locking mechanism that looks and feels far too fragile. Every time I rode over a pothole or a patch of bumpy road, I would check to see if it was still there. While you ride, the pack bounces around a fair bit - if you carry heavy things inside like multi tools this can only get worse. Its just too flimsy and prone to breakage.
If the plastic connector were shortened and thickened, I would feel much more confident in using this on a regular basis.
