Weighing just 1360 grams, it's clear why the Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35's are the wheelset of choice for the pros when the road points skyward. However, despite this climbing prowess, the Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35 also offers aero advantages for flatter terrain thanks to the 35mm deep carbon rim construction. So, even if the course levels out, you're still equipped to handle yourself amongst even the best sprinters. Due to the new slightly larger 24.2mm outer rim width, this wheelset also accommodates much wider tires than the previous model - allowing you to improve comfort, control, and grip. In this clincher-compatible iteration, this wheelset also offers an exceptional level of serviceability too.
In the past, carbon rims have had a terrible reputation for braking, especially in wet weather. However, with the development of AC3 (All Conditions Carbon Control) technology, Campagnolo has changed that. By applying AC3 technology to the braking track, these wheels offer up to 40% better braking performance in the wet, and 20% better braking performance in the dry. So now, no matter the weather conditions, you can ride a pair of top quality carbon wheels with full confidence that you can stop when it matters.
Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35 wheels are built with a set of oversized, high flanged carbon-fiber hubs to reduce weight and improve stiffness. Filled with Campagnolo's proprietary CULT ceramic bearings which increase efficiency, these hubs spin smoother, for longer. Using 18 bladed stainless-steel aero spokes in the front, and 21 in the rear, these hubs are laced and balanced to the carbon rim using Campagnolo's distinctive G3 spoke pattern by a Campagnolo qualified technician. These design and manufacturing techniques create a wheelset that is incredibly torsionally stiff and efficient, ensuring maximum speed and lasting race-winning performance.

The Bora Ultra 35 replaced some entry level carbon wheels that came with my bike. Those here fixed all the problems I had with the ones before. They are stiff, the hubs/bearing do not drag like crazy, the braking is superb. Perfect climbing wheels. I had them now for less than a week, but each ride puts a smile on my face.
