great everyday tire

4

This is a nice compromise between racing and training. I'll be using it for both until I get lighter wheel set. Great puncture resistance.

great all-around tire

5

i've gone through several of these and see no good reason to switch to anything else. they're frequently available for $25-$30 per tire on PBK, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better tire for the money. i regularly get 3000 miles on a tire and i don't think i've ever gotten a puncture...just a pinch flat or two from massive potholes, which isn't the tire's fault.

great product and great value.

Great tyre regardless of price

5

Without taking into account the price of these tyres they are awesome. I've been using these and the other Rubino varieties for a few years now and they have always performed. Good puncture resistance and very long lasting

Great training tyre

4

I have ridden over 2500km on these tyres and not had a single puncture.

They grip and handle well in all conditions and are extremely well priced on PBK.

Brill!

5

I have ridden them all this year and not one puncture, grip is great in wet or dry and weighing in at just 225g its right on the money for this level of puncture protection, sure you can get lighter dipping under 200g but you will have to contend with poor puncture protection.

Excellent for training

5

I usually go through two sets of these a year used exclusively as a training tyre. They are fantastic, offering excellent ride qualities for such a long lasting tyre. Puncture protection is great, over 3 seasons I have averaged one puncture a year, that alone makes guarantees I buy these every time.

Great value - high milage

5

These are the best value tyres I have used and they corner well in the wet. Punctures are rare even after 2,000kms although I am a light rider at 70kgs. They are hard to fit on some rims when new but worth the effort. I use them for both training and racing (never punctured in a race with these yet although I race with new or near new tyres).

Great Tire !!! Great Value !!!

5

I put a new pair on my fast bike every spring, for me that's all I need. That bike gets about 75 miles a week, then I rotate those to my commuter, also about 75 miles a week. So one pair per year at about 50 bucks leaves more money for other bike stuff!

Heavier than claimed

3

Just received these tires and weighed them. For 23mm size (not 25mm) the weight is 243g (not 225g as claimed)

Best tire for the price!

Good ride, handling, and speed. This is my favourite all-round tire, works well in dry conditions, even better in the rain!
