Graphene is a revolutionary material in the form of a very thin, nearly transparent sheet of pure carbon. In its extreme form it is as thin as a single atom (1/100,000,000th of a metre). Vittoria used Directa Plus Graphene called G+, which is 2 to 8 atoms thin.

Vittoria tyres are now intelligent. ITS compounds become harder and softer, depending on the needs of the rider. If the tyre is rolling straight, the rubber is at its hardest and offers low rolling resistance. If the rider breaks, accelerates or corners, the compounds soften and offer significantly more grip. Prior to the advanced development of Graphene, there was always the requirement of choosing between optimising, or aiming at, speed, grip, durability and puncture protection. Effectively, the introduction of Graphene allows for natural material barriers of rubber to be removed, which means that there is no longer the need for such compromises between speed, grip, durability and puncture resistance. All these features are now reaching their maximum possibilities.
Vittoria is the world’s leading manufacturer of tyres with cotton Corespun casing. The sublime performance of Vittoria tyres and tubulars is the product of years of experience. R&D, and advance production technology. At its heart is our mastery of fine-cotton Corespun production. Simply put, the finer the Corespun fabric, the more supple the tyre casing. The casing conforms closer to the roads surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling, and better grip. The grade of fabric used in a tyre’s casing is expressed in threads-per-inch (TPI): the higher the TPI number, the finer the threads, the denser the weave, and the suppler the tyre. Uniquely, Vittoria makes casings with 320 TPI Corespun yarn – the finest available.

Nylon is a robust and durable artificial fibre traditionally used for strong tyre casings. The artificial fibre can be very light but is not as supple as Corespun. Our Nylon casings set a new standard in their class. Vittoria offers casings in Nylon 180 TPI, 150 TPI, 120 TPI, Nylon 60 TPI and Nylon 26 TPT, each equipping tyres at its respective point on the price-performance scale, and all conferring the Vittoria characteristics of comfort, speed and good handling.
Vittoria’s unique Graphene compound with revolutionary G+*, as provided by technology partner Directa Plus. No compromise is necessary with this compound that is superior in speed (rolling resistance), grip, durability and wear resistance.
4 Compounds (4C)
Exclusively developed by Vittoria to achieve performance products without compromise. Vittoria 4C is a layering process, using 4 separate compounds in the same thread. The 4C process offers unmatched versatility, by allowing for separate base and surface compounds, in both the centre and side areas of the tread. Benefiting from the different properties of each compound, including the G+ Isotech, their distribution is extensively tested to deliver the best products imaginable.
3 Compounds (3C)
Applied by Vittoria to deliver all-round products without compromise. Vittoria 3C is a layering process, using 3 separate compounds in the same tread. The different properties of each compound, including the G+ Isotech, allow for the improved experience in all circumstances.

thought I'd try them. Previously the best all around tire i have used is the Continental gp 40002. The Vittoria's are like riding on a cloud so smooth. They seem faster too. I did flat with a piece of glass, ( never had a flat with glass on the Continental's only pieces of sharp metal but never glass) they look to be wearing faster but i think it would be hard to use any other tire. They are just too comfortable!
Corsa G+: smooth riding, great cornering, I ride them at 110 in group rides. Moving from Vittoria Corsa KS, and these hold a line better, inspire greater confidence. BUT, moving from a 23 to a 25 on my current rims (Fulcrum 5's) caused issues with tubes flatting from roughness inside the rim. Not the fault of the tire--obviously. But new rim tape, and then more new and wider rim tape, and the problem seems to be solved. Very tight clearance with the 25's. But I love the tire. Still, may have to go back to 23's on my current Giant TCR Competition. I have found 25's (Veloflex) work better on my Giant Defy--more clearance.
I rode these tires for 100 miles on a ride over varying surfaces. They rode great. The cornering was superb and the overall ride was fantastic.
These are great tires. PBK has the best price I’ve found and remarkably fast shipping for getting them to the US. Not the best resistance to glass on the road once a bit worn but road feel is as close to tubukars aa I’ve found.
These are great tires. I also use Conti 4000s and Schwalbe 1s, and of course these are lovely tires too, but the new Victorias and even better. They are tough, they grip and they look amazing on my Bianchi Oltre XR2. I ordered another set.....just in case. Well, these do wear-out faster than I'd hoped they wouldn't (like all top-end tires), but that's to be expected. I love them!
I was a bit uncertain at first as I sustained a pretty bad cut in the rear tyre after 500 miles...I did a repair with some liquid rubber and duct tape in the inner wall and swapped front and back....I was able to eek out 2040 miles from 8 Feb to mid May overall, so I felt they were worth the price paid. After 2k miles, flats were more frequent, and I found another nasty cut so I decided to "retire" them. Overall, they roll beautifully, especially with latex tubes. I'm not a great fan of the grooved tread, they are always collecting bits of gravel. After my current cont4000 run, which I am really liking as well, I have a pair of all black Vittoria Corsa G+ Contols to test out. On my rims (DA C40) the size 25's are a bit plumper than than the conti's. so I'm guessing closer to 28's. I ride 120psi in back, 115 in front. The tan sidewalls are really cool looking I will say.
I previously rode Vittoria Open Corsa CX tires for their ride and handling, however their durability was not good. It seemed a new cut in the tire was only a ride away! Then I switched to the 700x23 version of these, hoping for the same ride and handling, but with increased durability. That's exactly what I got—thousands of miles ridden, with only a small cut found on my rear tire. In fact, the 700x23 version of the Corsa G+ felt as if I'd switched to the 700x25 version of the Open Corsa CX. The ride was that much smoother. Fast forward to this year, when I switched to the 700x25 version of the Corsa G+, and I couldn't be happier. They are without question the best riding/handling tires I've ever ridden, and I'm expecting that they'll be just as durable as my first set of G+'s. If you want tyres that are smooth round and great endurance try these VittoriaG+ clincher road tyres and also the diameters are within a reasonable range as most other brands are ridiculously extreme beyond diameter measurements ! “Ride safe ride graphine “
I reviewed these last year and now that I've worn down my first set it's worth a follow up. In one year I put around 3000 miles (4800km) on them. I run 25mm at 90psi for a 188 lb rider. I rotate my tires to keep the wear even. I had one puncture, in light rain due to a tiny shard of stone. It did not leave much of a cut. The center tread wore down and the side grooved area is still fine. I am still using that set for my old steel bike that I use for slow rides around town. The ride is just great. They really showed their mettle on a twisty downhill chicane during a group ride. The cornering grip is so good that when others are trimming speed with the brakes these will let you fly through (38mph /61kph) with supreme confidence. Outstanding tires.
