Satisfied

Have only done about 100kms on it so far but no issues. Was having trouble calibrating my trainer with my road tyre and was told I should be using a trainer tyre. Installed this and was able to calibrate straight away. All seems to working fine and smoothly so far.

A must

I had slippage problems on my bushido , especially on sharp accelerations, this tyre fixed that. Now since my wheel doesn't slip it also had the secondary effect of bumping up my power readings, honestly I had doubt it would make such a difference. I found it a bit hard to install due to the hardness of the material.

excellent

I don't have much to say about the product, it does what it's suppose to do and it does it well. Silent and durable! great buy

Tacx Clincher Turbo Trainer Tyre

A bit expensive but it's a must on the trainer and your investment is paid back over time. Easy to install like a regular clincher.

The colour is a nice touch

I have ridden both this & the Conti variant. There is no difference that I can discern. They both roll smoothly on the turbo. They both roll quietly. They both wear well. Neither slips on the turbo.

If I had to decide between them, then I would lean toward the Tacx. The blue tire is obviously an indoor tire & you're unlikely to forget about it & ride it outdoors. However, the Tacx is $20 more than the Conti - the convenience of the blue reminder isn't worth $20 to me.

On my second set. Last forever. Ride quiet. Grip well.

I am now on my second set of these tires on a road bike on a trainer. I find that they grip the roller well and are very smooth and quiet when I am riding. I don't know the miles I rode on the first set, but it was a lot. It was at least an order of magnitude the number of miles I would see by sticking old road tires on the trainer.

I would never think of taking these outside (helped because my trainer bike is an old bike left 100% on the trainer).

I would recommend these highly. I use a Tacx trainer with them.
