Very Fast and Grippy

I love these tires. They are very fast in the the straights and corners.
They are also much suppler than other tires I have tested resulting in a less fatigued rider.

Some down sides would be the tread life and puncture protection (I have had one flat). Since theses are race tires, this would be expected.

Light,fast and comfortable

Good grippy and light tyre. Ride comfort is better as I don't feel the bumps as hard than the old tyres and I dropped 40gm from my old Specialized Mondo's which were about 243gm. The compound is slightly softer so they do pick up some light gravel and stones, rolling resistance is quite low too. Really happy with these except for the colour I chose(Yellow) which was my fault. Just stick to the simple coluors or match them with your bike.

A good tyre that provides a lot of grip

If you looking for a grippy tyre, then this is the tyre for you. However I was a little disappointed in the wear factor of the tyre - they wear quicker than other branded tyres that I have used. They are quite a soft tyre, so the heavier you are the more quicker its going to wear out.

good all around

I use them everywhere, perfect

Super smooth

So I've previously been a big fan of Vittoria tyres with their high pressure capabilities (I'm a bit of a fatty). But a mate recommended these because they roll very well.
No lie, these roll very fast, even if they look really flat when I crush them down. In addition they have a very soft cushiony feel to absorb most of the bumps in the road.

don't wast you money on this tyre.

This Pro race 3 tyre is not for Australian conditions. Simle as that. Cuts way to easy. Look elsewhere.

Any news about A defector's strange disappearance?

Resistant

The roads were I train aren't well maintained, lots of debris, glass, metal, etc.
I usually change my tires after a few (2-3) flats in order to avoid repetitive problems.
However, I've only had 1 flat with my PR3 this summer, after 2500 km. It got so bad that I finally changed it after I realized I had worn it down to the threads underneath... this never happened to me before.
They are light, fast and corner well.
Good value!

Improvement over stock tires

I bought these since they were cheaper than other options in my price range. I read that they wear faster and are more susceptible to cuts and flats. So far, I've been commuting and training on these tires with no issues. *knock on wood*

I bought these tires to replace the Bontrager Race Lite tires that came on my Trek 1.2 road bike. The difference is seriously like night and day in terms of speed, acceleration, and cornering!

These tires do have noticeably less rolling resistance than the Bontragers. I used to cruise at ~15mph on the Bontragers (I'm still getting fit) and now I can cruise at ~17-18mph on these tires. I also feel that I can accelerate a little easier due to the lighter weight of these tires.

The cornering is excellent! The Bontragers felt uneasy, like it required a lot of small corrections to hold my line in a corner. With the Pro3s, just point the bike where you want to go and it digs in to the ground, locks on to where you want to go, and GOES THERE!

These tires transformed the feel of my bike to a nice, precision machine. These actually brought back memories of when I used to go car racing and the first time I drove a car on racing tires versus street tires. The Pro3s literally give you that feeling.

I haven't owned these tires for very long, so I can't tell you how durable these are. One word of advice, make sure you have some STRONG tire levers. I ordered some Lezyne levers with these tires and I was worried at a few points during the install that I was going to snap the levers!

The sidewalls are very stiff, but nothing that the average person can handle with tire levers. Forget about mounting these by hand. It's not happening. You need levers.

Great everyday tires

This is my second pair or the 3 series on my RS80 rims. No puncture at all for about 3000kms. Great grip.. the rear needs to be changed obviously earlier as it wears quicker.. at the front it last forever.. Yes I see a number of cuts here and there but it doesn't bother me. I have red ones which remains red and looks good without cleaning.
