The Hellkat is an all-new gravity tire, developed with UR Team pro riders. An optimized tread design lets you rip across a wide range of conditions, never letting you down through sharp turns or aggressive braking. Equipped with Advanced Gravity Casing, the Hellkat is unimpressed by any sharp object you may encounter on your ride. Don’t be just fast - be fast as hell!
- Advanced Trail Casing (ATC) uses a layer of SCT on the sidewalls and a K-Armor belt under the tread area. K-Armor allows for a tighter weave and the use of less rubber, resulting in a lighter tire and a casing that is supple enough to allow the knobs to flex and form under load, yet still protects from pinch flats or casing tears.
- RSR evolution - New RSR dual layer compound for better control and long tread life.
- Versatile - Tread design is optimized for a wide range of conditions balancing traction, handling and rolling speed.
- Tubeless ready – Saves weight and provides a better rolling performance and more controlled handling. Riding tubeless also reduces the chance of flats.

Pretty good all around tire
Purchased the 29x2.6 EN-DTC tires, mounted them to my carbon enduro wheelset, then onto a 2021 YT Capra in a tubless config. Mounting was easy, the sidewalls feel strong and supportive. A short run was all I needed to realize I made a good choice. Faster rolling that the Maxxis DHF and decent weight. Unfortunately, Brokerage fee changes makes future purchases to Canada (probikekit.CA) no longer feasible.
hellkat 27.5 x 2.60
I purchased this tyre a few weeks back as my trail bike had conti mountain kings that although new, made my descents a bit of a nervy process. I decided to beef up the front end only, with the hellkat, and went for 2.6 instead of my existing 2.4 widths. The hellkat measured a smidgen under 2.60 fully inflated on a dt rim with 30mm internal width. First impressions were, that this tyre offered unbelievable purchase on anything I ran them into, so confidence was rapidly building, and I quickly carried more speed down technical descents in wet conditions, also braked harder and later for turns. This tyre has inspired me to ride this bike in the last few weeks, as many times as its been out in the last 3 years. Thanks to Kenda for the fantastic tyre, and thanks to Probikekit for the amazing price point.
Hellkat pro atc
After a rough start (1st tyre had snapped bead 2nd had casing issue), which was resolved very quickly by probikekit sending replacements, I'm now well impressed with this tyre. Measures up slightly wider than 2.6 on a 30mm internal rim and the grip is unbelievable. Doesn't seem phased by any conditions other than heavy gravel corners where any tyre would lose traction. Fitted tubeless easily and rolls much quicker than i expected. ATC casing seems tough enough, I've ridden a few rocky pointy results and hasn't punctured. Other than initial fault issues I'm very happy with this tyre.
Really liking the Hellkat. Bought the 27.5x2.40 EN-DTC version. Wasn't sure whether this was the lighter ATC version or not, but it is (says so on the tire), and the weight was 822g - exactly as per Kenda specs. And the ATC is almost 1/2 lb less per tire than the RSR versions, yet the sidewalls feel tougher and thicker than my Nobby Nic snakeskin. Exactly what I was looking for - something a bit beefier in the tread than the Schwalbe Nobby Nic (with only 50g weight penalty over the 2.35 Nobby Nics actual weight of 770g), but not as slow and heavy as the Magic Mary or Maxxis DHF. Thanks!
