5Bought these for my wife's bike for peace of mind so no road side punctures. Easy to fit easy to inflate. Whish I had done it earlier.

5Replaced gator skins with these tyres about 4 weeks ago, they slipped on the standard Merida 500 wheels easily by hand, filled front and rear with my usual 90psi. First impression on test ride was the smoothness of the ride, bumps in the road I used to have to brace myself for, the GP5000 just glided over. 4 weeks in, daily commutes and a couple of weekend burns, these tyres are amazing. Highly recommend.

4Unpacked the tire and put it on my driveway at midday for 20 mins, in the sun, in 30C temp. Then tried to install it on my disc wheel for my TT bike. After 20 mins, it was not going to happen. Decided to try my HUNT wheels and after breaking 2 plastic levers, it was on. Sealed no problem. Road it this morning and was happy with the performance. Had it pumped up to 80psi and it was comfortable. I was running Schwalbe's at 50. Other than being a MFer to get on...they are great.

5I've ridden a variety of tubeless tires over the past 4 years with mixed results. While there is no way ever I'd go back to clinchers, I haven't really found a tire I love despite riding Hutchinson Fusion 3s, 5s, Sector 28s and Schwalbe Pro Ones. Well, I am thrilled with the Conti 5000 TL's! They roll fast, grip tightly, resist cuts well, seem to have excellent puncture resistance (none in first 1200 miles, anecdotal, but hoping this wasn't just luck), wear well and are quite comfortable. Some tires roll faster or wear better, but this tire does everything very well with no weaknesses. I have had tires that were difficult to install, but I mounted the 5000 TL's by hand on Zipp 303 NSW's and inflated them with a standard floor pump. At the very least these tires are a great match for these rims.

5I have only been out them on a few times but so far so good. I can't comment on how long they last but GP5000's are easily the nicest tyres I have ever ridden, amazing grip and very fast. They are way better than the other tubeless road tyres from Schwalbe, Hutchinson, Vittoria and Bontrager that I have had before. No problems fitting them either. Not the cheapest tyres out there but the performance gain for the extra cost must make them the best value upgrade you can buy for your bike. Will buy them again.

5I am a regular road cyclist, and I can tell you that the tubeless GP5000 25mm are seriously a huge advantage. Since I put them on my Reynolds 80mm wheels I have done in a week 400Km and I didn't need a power meter to tell you that they feel faster, much more comfortable (as you need you run them with about 80Psi or less) that my previous GP4000 clincher 25mm. First of all, tubeless is the way to go; now I have not doubts about it, and the GP5000 Tubeless x 25 are fast, comfortable and the grip when cornering is superb. I wanted the 28mm but I couldn't find them, however I am very happy with this pair of tyres. Highly recommended!

1I brought these on the bases they are a very good tyre but after receiving them I tried fitting them on my campagnolo bora wto 60 and would not go on tried ever trick in the book and nothing worked. So deffo don't buy if you are using these wheels. They need to display what wheels they fit so people don't waste time.

4Brilliant tyres; low rolling resistance and grip like you wouldn't believe. But dayummmm they are hard to get on. Put it this way, if I'm out on the road and don't get a puncture that is fixed either by sealant or a tubeless plug; it's an Uber home. Worth the risk though, these are that good.
