I purchased Continental grand prix 5000 tyres. They arrived quickly after order. These are my go to tyres, I have purchased these before and found them to be a good alround tyre. Definately recomend this supplier and tyre.

WORST TYRE EVER HAD!

1

So far, 1000km with 4 punctures and finally a cut. Avoid this tyre and go to 4 seasons

Great value, timely delivery, well packaged - for 2 of 3 items.

On 24 Nov 22 I ordered Garmin Vector 3 power pedals, Vittoria Corsa tyres and Look Keo cleats. Received the first two. Really good value, dispatched reasonably quickly and really well packed (came from UK to me in Australia). Still waiting (15 Dec 22) for my cleats (needed for power pedals)! No idea when I’ll get them. 2 outa 3 ain’t bad!

Conti Grand Prix 5000

Great tyres for everything from Sunday long rides to racing. I buy them for my sons who are racing at a high level and really like them for grip and speed while I’m a big fan of their rolling and puncture resistance. Thanks to Pro Bike Kit for the excellent price and good delivery times.

Very Happy So far

Got these for a great deal at PBK. Chose them based on rating. Used them in my first IM70.3. They were great! Maybe it was the adrenaline but my average speed over the 56 miles was about .75 mph better than my previous best which was signif for me. Ride is great. Only have about 100 miles on them so too early to say for certain. But I think I really like them.

Continental Grand Prix 5000 Clincher Road Tyre - grippy and fast

5

These tyres have low rolling resistance and help keep my 38mm deep carbon rim wheels rolling along. Good grip in dry conditions and in the wet they seem to be good too but I don't really push it in the wet. Endurance wise I can't comment I've only had them for a month.

Excellent tire. Wear pretty good. Get around 3-3500 miles off a rear. Little issues with flats. But are easy to remove and reinstall.

SUPERB TIRES

5

I have used these tires for 2 seasons on my "fast wheels" paired with Vittoria laytex tubes. the grip on the road is top notch. Call me a snob, but the sound/feel/speed of these has me spoiled rotten. I estimate at about 24 km/hr they are about 1 to 1.5 km/hr faster than riding with Specialized Roubaix with butyl tubes. Note they are unidirectional. I have put on several thousand kilometers (probably 4000) on these tires with one puncture (on a front tire too boot). the biggest thing to be aware of is they are often extremely hard to put on and seat correctly. To get around this use some soapy water on the beading of one side of the rim. Inflate lightly. go around the tire pinching in both sidewalls (well maybe not needed, but i do it). oh i also push the valve up a bit before inflating and then check seating of the tire by the valve...that is a spot common to all tires where the seating can get tricky. Lastly as you inflate the tire fully, you may hear the beading "pop" into place. spin the wheel and check for the obvious up/down and left / right wobbles. if there is an up/down, then the tire did not seat properly. you probably did not use soapy water so do not skip this step. Make sure your tire irons work good with this tire. my heavy duty green Muc Off tire irons are nice but a bit tricky to remove these.. I recommend a thinner tire iron.
