Probably the best
5I keep looking at other clinchers but always come back to these. Been running 4000 and 5000s for several years. I have experimented with others but for weight and puncture protection they are the best. For reference I rode over 13000km last year. Fit very nicely on my Hunt wheels too in case that is if help to anyone. I may try the tubeless version soon. Be nice to have a tan wall option too...

1Without a doubt the worst tyres I have ever purchased. Three punctures from new in less than 200 miles. They appear to be made of soft cheese or something with similar puncture resisting qualities. If you like riding your bike and not standing by the roadside fixing it then I'd recommend avoiding these.

4No punctures from Gatorskins over recent years, but first ride with Grand Prix 5000 a small piece of wire appeared from centre of tyre to puncture new tube - very disappointing, however, the tyre appears to be smoother and faster than the Gatorskins

4Much easier to fit than expected (after reading other reviews). Seem really fast, especially with the wind behind me. No cuts or marks to the tyres after several 40lk rides and hope these will not be prone to punctures like the ones I replaces. Time will tell! 5 stars if no punctures all summer!

4Great tyres. Buy 25 mm came up 24m not true to size be advised we are not normal every day people when comes to road bike every gram and mm counts so to conclude, great tyre smoother then the 4000 conti definitely a huge a noticeable improvement but then come up thinner that size stated

5Excellent tyres theses..grip well roll fast not had any punctures yet...touch wood. Highly recommend these quite brilliant set of rubber...and at this price PBK have smashed it again...buy them now!!
